2. Pick up the tables and counters. Clutter here instantly draws the eye and decluttering these areas takes between 1 and 5 minutes. 3. Vacuum. Even if you don't have the time or energy to mop, run the vacuum over the floors (including any wood floors or linoleum). It makes the floors look and feel so much cleaner. If you only do this in the kitchen and living area, it could take 5 minutes or less.
Good tips. My quickie clean-up always includes a speedy wipe-down in the bathroom. Close the shower curtain and give a quick shine to the sink and toilet! Takes less about 3 minutes --- that is if you've not neglected it for too long. ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kristina! Great tips! The trick is to pretend each day that someone is coming and then we'll see how fast we can get it all done! LOL
ReplyDeleteCleaning wipes are really quick and handy for that, Tanya!
ReplyDeleteAs always, great tips!
ReplyDeleteThat's usually what I do, too. And, since I have virtually no sense of smell, light a couple of Yankee Candles (if I have any) or spritz some air freshener.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I try to make sure the trash goes outside. Maybe not from every room, but the kitchen for sure--especially if I've been cleaning out the refrigerator!
