Letter of the Week: G

A nice way to introduce your child to the letter G is to give him a snack of grapes. Ask him the name of the fruit, then repeat it back to him, emphasizing the "g" sound: "G, g, g, grapes. The word 'grapes' starts with the letter G!" (If using green grapes, ask him what color the fruit is, then say: "G, g, g, green. Green starts with G, too!")
